AyeletKeymaster
Hi,
We highly recommend reading the ‘DevKit’ Workflow Manual’ (attached) as well as reading thoroughly the online guide, by clicking on the help button via SCiO Lab. The documents include all the relevant information.
Let us know if you still get this error.

Yes, definitely.
You can now use molecular sensing models developed by Consumer Physics in your own mobile app. The first models that we’re sharing are:
– Nutritional values of fresh meat
– Nutritional values of dairy products
– Nutritional values of fruit & vegetables
– Over the counter pain reliever identification (not for medical use)
We will be releasing more models as they become available. Each model has its own capabilities and requirements.
To start using the models, download the mobile SDK and follow the instructions and example code to integrate SCiO into your mobile app.

AyeletKeymasterHi Haris,
Apologies for the delayed response. We underwent some difficulties tracking the forum due to spam mail.
The collections are not available via the mobile SDK, only models can be used.
You can access your collections via SCiO Lab app.
getModels method returns the list of models associated to the app key, not the account.
The login process (and other APIs) uses the API key to identify the developer account which holds all the models.
Therefore, it doesn’t matter which user is used to login, if the same API key is used, you will always get the developer models.
I hope it’s clear now.
Ayelet,
The Consumer Physics Team
AyeletKeymasterAyeletKeymasterHi,
The displayed spectrum in “MY MINI APPLETS” is the reflectance spectrum: the ratio between the spectrum of SCiO’s illumination source and the spectrum of the reflected signal from the sample.
This is the reason for the mismatch between the two graphs.

AyeletKeymasterHi,
First, apologies for the delayed response from us, we had a backlog of support cases recently.
1. We are undergoing some difficulties during the liquid accessory production process, hence the delays. However I will make sure that we will expedite your shipment and that you will be amongst the first on the shipping list.
2. The SCiO Development Toolkit (DevKit) is designed to allow for building of material sensing applications using our cloud infrastructure. As such, it does not support downloading of the spectral data. If you wish to download the spectral data (as a CSV file) you should be using our Researcher Kit. Researcher kits cost at $999.
You can upgrade by transferring the amount into our PayPal account, for further details please contact me (ah@consumerphysics.com) or support (support@consumerphysics.com)
3+4. Regarding 1.1 and the reading materials, we will send you the information via an e-mail.

AyeletKeymasterHi Ivan,
I understood that you are in touch with Guy from our product management team regarding this issue.
Let me know if you have further questions.
Ayelet
AyeletKeymasterHi Ruby,
Sorry for the delayed response.
The problem is that changes required for the new version of SCiO 1.1 were not implemented in the moblie SDK.
Our software team is working now to fix the problem.
Using SCiO 1.1 , calibration is needed only once – so that you can disregard the isCalibrationValid field.

AyeletKeymasterHi Ivan,
In order to get your own model, you should access your data collection, then choose an attribute to analyze by and press ‘create model’.
Let me know if you still have a problem or any error occurred and please attach screenshots.

AyeletKeymasterHi,
Sorry for the delayed response.
We are happy to tell you that we have begun shipping our Superstar, Early Bird, and Early Adopter kits.
Please note that we have several thousands of these complex units to make for you, and each one must pass our stringent quality control before being released.
Once we are ready to ship, we will contact you to confirm your shipping address.

AyeletKeymasterHi,
The data which is shown is the reflecance spectrum – the ratio between the spectrum of the illumination source and the spectrum of the reflected signal from the scanned sample.
After downloading the raw spectra, you will have access to both the reflectance spectrum, the raw signal from the sample and the raw signal from the illumination source.
“Processed”, “Normalized”, “Porcessed and Normalized” and “((log R))” and Normalized” are all pre-processing methods used in order to eliminate spectral and experimental issues.
When viewing the scans of a data collection, the pre-processing options allow you to view your data collection spectrum with different algorithms applied. These can help you identify outliers, inaccurate scans and reveal possible relationships in your data.

AyeletAyeletKeymasterHi,
As we mentioned before, we are undergoing some difficulties during the liquid accessory production process, hence the delays.
While we are doing everything in our power to manufacture and deliver the best quality accessory possible, we do understand your frustration with the additional wait.
Thanks for your continued support and understanding,
Ayelet
AyeletKeymasterHi Arndt,
The explanation is detailed here:
Let us know if you have further questions.
Ayelet
AyeletKeymasterHi Ruby,
I transferred your question to our software team and will update you soon.
