Hi J.G,
I apologize for the delayed response.
Once you create your own model and wish to publish it, you may use our Mobile SDK and develop a corresponding App, then upload it to the App Store or Google Play.
According to our records you use v1.0 device. Note that v1.1 and v1.2 devices require only 1 initial calibration, as opposed to v1.0 devices that require calibration every 10 scans.
We have send you an e-mail that provides you with more details regarding the improved version.
Let me know if you have further questions.

AyeletKeymasterAs mentioned on our website, SCiO’s wavelength range is 700-1100nm.

AyeletKeymasterHi Joaquin,
I understood from Guy, our Product Manager, that you had a call with him recently.
I hope that the Mobile SDK issues are clear now.
Let me know if you still encounter any difficulties.

AyeletKeymasterHi,
In the near future, consumers will not have access to models or applets created by developers or researchers through SCiO consumer app.
However, adding applets inside our app is in our roadmap and will be available in the future.
Developers will be able to publish their applications either privately or by using the Consumer Physics platform, so that their applets will be displayed as part of SCiO Consumer app.
I hope that answered your question.

AyeletKeymasterAyeletKeymasterAyeletKeymasterHi,
Only one version of SCiO can be used in a single collection when creating a model and collecting data – either 1.0, 1.1 or 1.2.
You should make sure that you define the data collection with the correct SCiO Version.
Let me know if you have further questions.

AyeletKeymasterHi,
SCiO’s Penetration depth heavily depends on the sample – both material and density.
Usually, SCiO penetrates food for 3-4 mm and less than 1 mm for plastic or pills (which have compressed powder in them).

October 16, 2016 at 9:44 am in reply to: Changes in the spectrum when filtering wavelength range #43430AyeletKeymasterHi,
The pre-processing methods use some calculations which are only based on the selected range (for example, it calculates the average of the spectrum). If you choose different ranges, the average will be changed – hence the Y axis values will be changed accordingly.
I hope it is more clear now.

AyeletKeymasterHi,
I apologize for the delayed response.
Your suggestion would be feasible providing that the spectral fingerprint of chocolate bars of different provenances are different enough from each other.
As we have not tested it by ourselves, further research is needed.
Our chocolate applet which is now available as part of our SCiO consumer app, provides you with nutritional information and cacao levels estimation in chocolate samples.
