how deep is the light penetrating

I’d like to know how deep the beam light is penetrating into samples and especially for transparent colored plastic.

Hi,

 

SCiO’s Penetration depth heavily depends on the sample – both material and density.

Usually, SCiO penetrates food for 3-4 mm and less than 1 mm for plastic or pills (which have compressed powder in them).
