A ScientistKeymaster
Hi Ayelet, glad to hear this is a planned feature. Loooking forward to it!

Even in cases where it is not super critical (say Coke vs Pepsi vs RC cola), different models will give a top score based on confidence. 3/4 models will say Pepsi is Pepsi, but 1/4 says it’s Coke. I guess as the one developing the model we should just reject the one that says Pepsi is Coke, but if you are developing a complex model with more than 3 samples, it might not be so simple.
And if you use the wrong model and scan somebody’s skin, it will tell you they are made of licorice…
Also, I’m developing models for candy (fat, sugar, etc) but when I tried to use the model on a butter curry chicken to impress my friends, it gave a value of -10% fat… so yeah, models need to be material-specific. Pretty sure butter chicken has more than -10% fat.
But overall, very impressed with the accuracy of application specific models!
A ScientistKeymasterWell, time is always valuable eh? 🙂
I’m using an iPhone 5s, recently updated to the most recent version of iOS (9.1) and also updated the SCiO Lab mobile app a few days ago. Now I can’t see images anymore on the phone app, though there is a large white space above my first attribute.
I’m thinking to get into Android development, but can’t comment on that as of now.
A ScientistKeymasterI’m also interested in another EU meetup, as I’m sure others are too!
A ScientistKeymasterI just saw this and it made me smile. Go Wings. And go Detroit, I’m rooting for you.
A ScientistKeymasterYou can see photos attached to scans in SCiO Lab (Web) by clicking Collections>Samples then checking the button for “Scans” (not “Samples”) then selecting the scan from the list.
Similarly you can see the photos in the Mobile Lab by clicking through your collection, all the way to “Scan (Date, Time).”
But I can’t figure out how to change or remove a photo after it has been attached to a scan during the pre-scan setup.
A ScientistKeymasterA lot of people are wondering about this. I’m excited to see how the molecular cloud takes shape!
A ScientistKeymasterI’d be interested in attending a London meetup.
