I scan the sample data (including fruits and pills) obtained was always only the temperature, this why?Is there a problem with my scio?

    Hi Ye,

The temperature attribute values are automatically added to SCiO lab.

In order to estimate other values, corresponding attributes should be manually defined and the known values should be populated.

We highly recommend reading the ‘DevKit Workflow Manual’ and ‘Getting Started’ documents thoroughly as well as our online guide (by pressing on the ‘Help’ button).

    Hi,

    SCiO uses proprietary technology.

Since the device hardware is part of our intellectual property, we typically do not disclose it.

You can choose each one of the pre-processing methods under ‘Spectrum’ tab.

We highly recommend reading the ‘DevKit Workflow Manual’ and ‘Getting Started’ documents thoroughly as well as our online guide (by pressing on the ‘Help’ button).

    Hi,

When viewing the scans of a data collection, the preprocessing method options allow you to view your raw reflectance spectrum with different algorithms applied. These can help you identify outliers, inaccurate scans and reveal possible relationships in your data.

Note that this option will be available on SCiO’s next generation device.

Meanwhile, if you would like to get the raw reflectance spectrum with no algorithm applied, this can be done by downloading the spectrum as a CSV file.

Hi yedaoxiang – the lower limit of detection is stated to be around 1%, so residues which are present in ppm or ppb will not be found.

Only Researcher backers can get the raw reflectance data.
It is not helpful to most people.
