While in principle SCiO can penetrate glass (and most likely transparent assay tube as well), individual scans will depend on material type, thickness, and transparency.
We recommend scanning the object directly to get the most accurate read.
In addition, the analysis of liquids requires a liquid accessory to provide the best quality measurement of the special optical characteristics of liquids. The liquid accessory will be available in the coming months.
